Dear friends, as you know we are always looking for the best of Made in Italy to recommend to those who, like us, love horses and their elegance and on this page we present an all-Italian excellence: Prosecco Superiore, a white wine, naturally an elegant wine with unique fruity and floral aromas.

We begin our journey to discover the best Prosecco right where this extraordinary wine originates, in Conegliano Valdobbiadene, in the hill area in the North East of Italy, a small town about fifty kilometers from the island of Murano (Venice), where our collection of Murano Glass Horses is born.
For more than three hundred years in Conegliano Valdobbiadene the precious grapes are grown which give rise to the true Prosecco Superiore.

Now let’s discover the history of this wonderful wine but, first, take a short break and admire another all-Italian excellence: our Bracelets Collection, made in Italy hand-made by Italian hands and, of course, dedicated to the horse.
Now let’s take up the history of this extraordinary wine that officially starts in 1876 with the foundation of the first Italian Wine School.
In 1969 the production area, which includes 15 small towns and represents the heart of Prosecco, is recognized as a Historic Italian Name.
In 2009, with the reorganization of the Prosecco denominations, the Ministry of Agriculture classifies it as a Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin (DOCG), which represents the highest Italian quality level.
This is flanked by the Asolo DOCG and the Prosecco DOC, extended over 9 provinces of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, created to protect the viticultural heritage of Prosecco and protect it throughout the world.
Finally, from 2019 the Hills of Prosecco di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Now that we have known the history of Prosecco we discover what we find on each bottle, starting with the cable tie.
Each bottle is distinguished by the State cable tie, which shows a number that makes it unique and traceable, along with the name and brand of the denomination.
It is recognized by its golden color, which identifies all Italian DOCG wines.
We continue with the label, which is the identity card of the wine.
The label has a lot of information on the bottle but the most important is the name of the territory where it comes from, alone or associated with Prosecco Superiore for sparkling wine.

Now that we know it, we see, of course, how Prosecco should be drunk to taste its taste in the best way.
Fresh, versatile and moderately alcoholic, Prosecco lends itself to many consumption occasions.
It has become famous all over the world as the best aperitif but is also suitable for consumption throughout the meal, particularly in the Brut version.
It should always be served alone, you will never have to mix it and the secret of pairing is knowing how to combine its elegant and never invasive personality with dishes that bring out its characteristics with cooking that maintains the original flavors and aromas.
